Eating a Healthy Diet
Many of us believe that healthy eating is about consuming the minimum number of calories that we can get by with. This is due to our desire to lose weight and the diets that have educated us about healthy eating. But this approach can often leave us feeling unsatisfied.
What we need to do is accept that healthy eating is about balance. Healthy eating does include foods with higher fat, sugar and calories if those are what you enjoy. The trick is to incorporate these enjoyable food items into an overall eating plan that is primarily low in fat and low in sugar. It doesn’t matter how healthy a food is, if it doesn’t taste good you’re not going to want to eat it.
