The well known bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich is thought to be in the top 3 most popular sandwiches in the United Kingdom. These fantastic sandwiches are thought to be related to tea sandwiches originating in the Victorian era. Between 1930 and 1950 cookbooks included cheese as an ingredient.

Here at Miss Piggys we make a fantastic BLT sandwich. Filling, healthy and nutritious the sandwich will typically contain several rashers of well cooked, lean British bacon, some very crisp, fresh lettuce and some healthy, juicy tomato. Dressed with mayonnaise and seasoning we will customise with additional ingredients (including cheese) if the customer desires.
